In this week’s edition of Learning the Venture, we’re going to be taking a look at how the 2024 summer transfer window went for AceBoy Sports Group and their clients.
For our readers who have been subscribed throughout the year, will know that this window was dubbed as a crucial one for ABSG and their client roster. In being completely candid, I would have to admit that the window did not go necessarily as planned, but it was far from a failure.
As always, the summer and months leading up to the transfer window were filled with productive networking, and we’ve established some great connections with club officials across the English football pyramid that will only benefit our clients in the future.
In addition to our club connections, this summer we worked far more collaboratively with a much larger agent contact pool. This was amazing to be part of and see just how some of the most experienced agents work and do business with clubs.
While we did not work with any of the these agents on any deals, we were in a wide variety of talks with many different agents in various jurisdictions, regarding their own club requests, our players, and how we might be able to collaborate further in the future.
