And We're Back!

We've got some exciting news for you too...

Hey everyone,

After what has seemed like a long two-week hiatus from posting anything, we are officially back and ready to go! As you’ll most likely notice, Learning The Venture is no longer powered by Substack, as I am now writing from an entirely different platform; welcome to Beehiiv! Nothing wrong with Substack at all and I still use it for a few other newsletters I subscribe to, but Beehiiv’s integration with Twitter and analytical features were a real selling point, so I figured now would be a great time to move!

Anyways, onto the things you guys actually care about, it’s been a rather busy couple weeks for AceBoy Sports Group since the last post - which is definitely not a reason for ignoring you all (maybe a tad). The off-season is well and truly underway, and it is shaping up to be arguably my busiest since becoming an intermediary in 2019 and now as a FIFA agent.

Quinaceo is home and currently training with the Bermuda National Team, so looking forward to a productive summer for him. Ryan is still currently in England after finishing up with Tooting & Mitcham on loan from Hartley Wintney U23s. Talks are beginning to progress over trials/moves for my clients, and I’ve started discussions with two athletes about potentially onboarding them as clients and representing them - both are full Bermudian internationals, that’s all I’ll give you…

In other news, the Bermuda Red Cross Golf Tournament which we were assisting with as consultants went off without a hitch last Friday. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the event myself, but the post-mortem suggested it was very popular amongst the players, a few hiccups but nothing that derailed the day or the event in anyway.

Our sponsored athlete, Aeziah, is also doing well in Spain with his season now underway. We haven’t caught up with him in a while, but we should be in the near future, at which point I can give you a better update on his progress so far. For those of you who are new, Aeziah Divine is a motocross athlete and AceBoy Sports Group is one of his sponsors this year. You can find this article on the newsletter dashboard.

I hope you enjoyed this quick catch-up, and we will be back with your regularly scheduled programming going forward!

Hopefully there will be more news on the athlete front soon…

Until then, check you later!
